Why Ruth Washburn?

Why choose our school? We often get calls asking if we are like: Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, Goddard School, Primrose School, Head Start, etc. While many of these programs are developmentally appropriate, we are definitely our own program and do things the Ruth Washburn Way.

Our philosophy is to provide developmentally appropriate, research based play activities in thoughtfully planned environments with families actively involved in the education process. Four pillars form the foundation of our philosophy.
